The KentANIMEted Discord

We have a discord server where we discuss anything and everything from anime to manga to general University things. Its a great place for anime fans to come together, make friends and have a good chat. We also post announcements for the weekly socials for those who are not on the mailing list! It can be quiet at times, but say hello and give people some time. They will eventually respond!

By joining the KentANIMEted discord, you are agreeing to follow the rules outlined in the rules channel, and are aware and understand the Code of Conduct set by the Kent Union. You can read the Code of Conduct here.

How to join as a student

If you are a student at the University of Kent, you can join our discord through the University of Kent Student Hub. When joining, you need to use your university email (the one that ends in @kent.ac.uk)! You can join the hub directly here, or have a look at discord’s student hub page here. Once you’re in, you can look around at the wide range of servers that are available. To find the kentANIMEted server, look under Clubs or Home.

How to join as a non-student

If you are not a student at the University of Kent, you will need to attend one of our socials. These run weekly during term time. You can find out when we are meeting by checking the schedule page here. Once at a social, ask a member of the committee for an invite to the discord.
